Dachshund World Charities - Christmas Auction 2020

The Dachshund World Charities Christmas Auction Ends on December 3, 2020 at 9:00 PM EDT.

The “Howlidays” are upon us and Dachshund World Auctions "DWA" is holding a fundraising auction to help two very special dachshunds. The auction will run until Dec. 3, 2020 and close at 9:00PM Eastern Daylight Time.

Funds from this auction are going to benefit two adorable dachshunds in need of medical attention.

Porsha is a three year old dachshund that lives in Glasgow, Scotland. Porsha has been having trouble urinating and her current treatment of steroids and bladder expressions are not improving her situation. She required a consultation and after some expensive imaging, she was prescribed a regime of medication that did not improve her situation. Currently, Porsha's bladder must be expressed a few times a day. In a follow-up visit with her specialist, it was strongly recommended that she have surgery to resolve this issue.

Porsha is currently being seen at Vets4Pets in Riverway, Irvine, Glasgow, Scotland. 

Our second dachshund is Pico. Pico is an eight year old baby boy and we helped him with a severe dental issue. We helped Pico with a costly dental surgery and he's doing so much better!  After the surgery, Pico started having difficulty walking in mid-November. He was evaluated by his vet on Nov 13th. We anticipated that Pico will need images taken along with his examination and have paid for that vet visit. Pico was seen again to evaluate the progress of the strict rest and medication that we are happy to report that it has worked! Currently, Pico doesn't need any VIDD/Spinal surgery, but he is being closely monitored and in the event he does "go down", we will be ready with the funding from this auction.  If Pico stays healthy, the funds will be used to assist future babies that apply for financial assistance. 

Pico is currently a patient at Valley Cottage Animal Hospital in Valley Cottage, NY.
