New auction in Dachshund World Auctions
AUCTION END: THURSDAY, AUG 10, 2017 9:00 PM EDT
There will be two beneficiaries from this auction. For easier viewing and bidding on auction items please make use of our auction album.
Toby is a 14-year-old adopted baby of Ellen van Vogelpoel and her family. He was a bottle baby, adopted at three weeks of age. Toby’s mother had been brutally and senselessly beaten to death. About four years ago Toby was diagnosed as having a grade 4 heart murmur, which has now progressed to congestive heart failure.
With treatment, adjusting medications, blood work, and echocardiograms to monitor him, Toby’s prognosis is fairly bright. Without treatment Toby’s prospects are bleak. Toby is now in early-stage kidney disease. It will be a balancing act to get all medications right.
Also included in this auction is Mary Sims-mcgriff. Mary and her husband have a dog sanctuary. They have recently been inundated with dogs in need of spay or neuter. She currently has 17 dogs with that need, and to bring them up to date on vaccinations. We were able to negotiate with the clinic a price of $58 each for the procedure and the vaccinations.
