AUCTION CLOSED About the Pups: Pepper is about 5-6 months old, and her injury is an old one that happened about three months ago when she was the tiniest little puppy. Her leg is broken at the elbow, and cannot be fixed, so it will need to be amputated. She was apparently abandoned or dumped, rescued by a good Samaritan, and turned over to HTDR. Captain was born with an eye condition called lens luxation that was not diagnosed and now he is waiting to receive surgery because the lens in his right eye has become completely detached. Captain needs surgery to save his eye. The rest of his eye is healthy and Captain should not lose his sight or his eye because his humans let him down.
