Karen Scott’s Greta, who is 13 years old and Butters, who is 11 years old. Both have been suffering with skin infections, and Greta has a flea allergy. Butters is fear aggressive.

These conditions have been treated, utilizing the funds from Karen’s fundraiser. Due to the fact that Karen and her family have been homeless for a period of time, they had been living in their car. A relative has taken them in, but they can’t have the dogs with them, so they have to be boarded. Even though Karen’s husband has now found employment, due to the high cost of boarding Karen has reluctantly considered surrendering them.

Being surrendered would most certainly not leave them with a very bright future. Two senior dogs, both with skin conditions, and one being fear aggressive, would in all likelihood mean that one or both would face probable death. I’m sure that all will agree, that is not an option. Therefore we are helping with boarding, until they find suitable housing.

Karen Gates has four dogs. Sadie and Bandit are 7 years old. Grizzly and Jewels are 5 years old. All four have bad teeth, with three showing obvious signs of pain, and with Sadie’s being the worst. Additionally all four are in need of routine veterinary care. Our aim is to assist with the cost of that care, and to restore quality of life to these babies.
